Sliding Chess

Sliding Chess is an exciting sliding chess game that’s part of the #FlutterPuzzleHack. It might sound complicated, but it’s really quite simple once you get the hang of it!

Moving the Pieces: Grab the chess piece by pressing and holding it. Next, just drag that piece to the square where you want it to go, and release it. Easy-peasy, right?

Sliding Tiles: In addition to moving the pieces, you’ve got this cool option of sliding tiles. Want to do that? Tap a tile that’s in the same line as the missing “hole,” and you can slide it around.

Restrictions with Sliding and Moving: Now, there are some rules you’ve got to keep in mind:

  • Sliding tiles into or out of a check on your own king? Nope, that’s a no-go. However, when you’re attacking, sliding can be your secret weapon!
  • And watch out for the missing “hole” on the board. Most pieces can’t move past it. The only exception is the Knight; that piece can jump right over it.
